Your library can accommodate the needs of people with autism best by providing a variety of sensory experiences. If the noise reduction strategies previously mentioned cannot be implemented throughout the library, and because libraries will need to have areas where noise is tolerated as well as quiet areas to meet the needs of all users, consider providing special quiet places (as well as places for additional sensory stimuli) for people with autism to go if they need an escape from sensory stimuli.
